Introduction

This Spirit Success Report from Halloran Software's AstrolDeluxe ReportWriter program draws upon 576 paragraphs which interpret the places of the planets at the time of your birth, describing your personal houses, sign placements, and planetary aspects.

These astrological delineations depict your potential and how to make the most of it, or the challenges you will continue to face and how to confront and benefit from them.  Though you may change through experience, your inherent characteristics will still motivate how you act and react to circumstances.  How you handle yourself is really a clue to your success, and it is up to you to make the "right" choices.

Here are the parts which make up your chart:

HOUSES:  Govern sections of your life, e.g., your money, your health, your partners, etc.  They are also meaningful as to where your early interests lie and if they are worth pursuing.

SIGNS:  Contribute feelings or vibrations to "color" planets, e.g., MERCURY rules GEMINI and VIRGO and emphasizes their qualities of thought, travel, health, and work.  JUPITER rules SAGITTARIUS and higher education, spiritual growth, and law.

ASPECTS:  Are angles combining the planets in the SIGNS/HOUSES that trigger the manner in which you will be influenced or can handle your qualities to advantage, e.g., MERCURY (thought) TRINE (in good aspect to) JUPITER (education and law) may indicate that you can succeed as a counselor in legal matters.

A "Strength" number precedes each ASPECT interpretation towards the end of the reading.  This number synthesizes how exact is the aspect, whether the aspect is major or minor, and whether an aspecting planet is close to one of the four chart angles.  The higher the Strength, the more you are likely to feel the aspect and to live it out in your life.

You are most likely to feel and act out the Spirit Success Report's sign and house placement interpretations when the planets involved are strong in your chart.  This is true especially of the outer planets, Jupiter through Pluto.  The Astrodynes program, also available from Halloran Software, calculates the respective power and harmony of all the planets in your chart.

Planets in Signs and Houses

Scorpio Ascendant

(The Master)

Your unwavering, sometimes piercing gaze states that you are secure in the knowledge of who you are.  You like to have your own way, and if you don't get it, will devise a dozen different strategies to have it, anyway!  Your strengths are divided, and present two definite sides of the same coin:  You are a loyal friend and a bitter enemy; have high morals or little conscience; and employ your finest or most scurrilous qualities with equal vigor.  The choice is always yours.

Sun in Capricorn

(Keynote: I UTILIZE)

You are ambitious, patient, responsible, and disciplined, but may also be haughty, rigid, stingy and gloomy.  You are determined to rise to the top of the heap and use every means at your disposal to get there.  You may compromise goals, but never principles.  Besides inherent faith in church and country, you revere your home and family.  You find it hard to forgive those who defy your edicts.  Pride is your downfall. You hunger for love, but will reject it if you feel unappreciated.  There are alternate ways to the top of the mountain you might explore, if just for the "fun" of it!

Sun in the Second House

(The Aspirant)

Your focus is on your ability to earn and learn.  It is not that you value money above all else, but resources will always be important to you and represent your basic security. You may set standards early and be on the lookout for ways to improve your station.  Your idea of success is to set a goal, achieve it, and then set a new goal a little higher than the first.  Who can blame you if you take pride in showing what you have accomplished through your hard work?  Many a philanthropist has received satisfaction by donating his treasures for public display, that others may enjoy them.

Moon in Virgo

(The Spartan)

Your outwardly-cool attitude may cause others to approach you with caution, and make friendship difficult.  You are capable of accomplishing a lot, with little to work with.  You are not particularly ambitious, but may over-emphasize your limitations.  A place in scientific research is possible, where your practical mind and attention to detail can be appreciated.  If you are too hard on yourself or others, you can destroy your chances for recognition of your excellent merits.  Digestive difficulties may occur if you fret obsessively with no outlet for your frustrations.

Moon in the Tenth House

(The Celebrity)

Always on display, you are concerned with the impression you make.  A natural empathy with people lends insight to relate on almost any level, so a career in the spotlight has a good chance of succeeding, once you make up your mind to settle on an occupation. Your ambitions may produce an uneasy feeling you could do better if you had a new start, which may or may not be true.  Your motto should be "Get it right the first time." (If not, you WILL try and try again!)

Mercury in Capricorn

(The Logician)

You are a strategist who employs systematic methods and are seldom upset, unless your plans are disturbed.  You communicate with others by getting right to the point with a minimum of wasted effort.  Others may consider you sober, self-righteous and too rigid to enjoy life, but what they think of as "rigid", you believe to be structured, "sober" as merely serious, and "self-righteousness" is your pride in accomplishments that you have earned the hard way.

Mercury in the Second House

(The Juggler)

You can do more than one job, but find it difficult to establish a life-direction.  Choose a goal and realistically determine the time it will take to accomplish it.  Resolve to finish what you start.  Otherwise, you may become a "Jack of All Trades and a Master of None." That would be a great pity because you have valid avenues open to you.  Most would lead you to a productive existence of great personal satisfaction culminating in S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

Venus in Sagittarius

(The Escape-artist)

Your interests are so varied that it is hard for you to be content with "one" of anything.  You love to travel, so may have two places you call "home."  You need challenge and are easily bored, so can hold two jobs at the same time.  You are capable of loving more than one person, also, and will devise excuses to delay a commitment.  If you do settle down, your partner must accept your continued need for freedom and your sometimes-careless handling of money!

Venus in the First House

(The Charmer)

You'll learn early how to utilize your good looks, sunny disposition and outgoing personality to attract friends and have little trouble getting your own way.  Partners will always be important to you, so you should learn to share willingly.  Use as your spiritual guide the lesson of St.  Francis: "...It is by giving that one receives."  Perfect your gift of beauty on your personal universe.  There is no better way to use it.

Mars in Libra

(The Captivator)

An intensive yen for romance may tempt you to marry early and in haste, which is inviting trouble.  You enjoy life as an "attention-getter" with good looks and a congenial manner to attract those with the same qualities.  You will also inevitably provoke the jealousy that goes with popularity.  You're really too intelligent to indulge your penchant for changing partners each time you dance.  You have what it takes to recognize the "right" one, with all you need to be happy.

Mars in the Eleventh House

(The Campaigner)

You will use your ability to work with people to achieve your personal goals.  You may have only a few close friends, because you are too busy enlarging your circle to establish many permanent relationships.  You weren't born to be a team-player, but will find that support is necessary to further your ambitions.  Cooperation and coordination should be your key words for success and play a major part in your life-pattern of expansion.

Jupiter in Virgo

(The Hopeful)

Flashes of optimism will ease your concerns with yourself, allow you to relax, and overcome feelings of apprehension.  By being "yourself," others can admire your fine qualities of intelligence, insight and practicality.  During those periods you may receive the advances you've desired, but were too conservative to promote.

Jupiter in the Tenth House

(King O' The Hill)

Your supreme self-confidence will take you far in a career.  As a public figure, you might try politics, or acting.  You usually know what you're talking about, are conscious of your image and try to keep your actions above reproach.  Only if you take your success for granted, or over-extend yourself, are you likely to fail in your undertakings.

Saturn in Sagittarius

(The Persuader)

You have the ability to influence others to join a crusade; as long as you adhere to your high principles, they will admire and probably follow you without question. However, you must be prepared to encounter those who disagree with your beliefs and oppose you.  Carefully guard your words and actions because they can be held against you.  The flames you ignite may become a holocaust out of your control.

Saturn in the First House

(The Burdened)

You were born with the weight of the world on your shoulders and a profound sense of what is proper and what is not.  You take life seriously and assume responsibility, but are frequently disappointed when others don't recognize your value.  You may have to enlarge your concepts, and grow past a tendency to magnify your difficulties.  Discard negativity. Childhood sicknesses may also vanish, releasing you from other inhibitions which have held you back.

Uranus in Aries

(The Radical)

Nothing can stop your headlong plunge into the heart of life.  But, you are very like Icarus in Greek mythology, who flew with wings of wax and fell into the sea when the sun melted them.  Your spirit of adventure, coupled with enormous self-confidence may override prudence.  But, your rash, impulsive ways are also the stuff on which invention thrives. Expect to devote time to prove your concepts before demanding that a conventional world accept them as significant.

Uranus in the Fifth House

(The Child)

You are always in search of amusement of a "different" kind, and may originate innovative games.  No matter your age, children find you fascinating and accept you readily.  Your own children may be as full of surprises as you, yourself. Because of your many facets, you project whatever image you desire, with the skill of an actor.  You may fall in and out of love easily because of your lack of commitment.  A desire for too much freedom can result in a lonely future.

Neptune in Pisces

(The Pensive)

Influenced by early programming, you need the support of a family.  If you do not have kin, you may "adopt" a family, perhaps people you have befriended, who return your kindness. Your concentrative powers can work for or against you.  "Bad luck" is usually the result of negatives projected by you or absorbed from others.  Don't weaken your ability with self-pity; use "bad" feelings as cues to pursue knowledge of spiritual development seldom afforded the uninitiated.

Neptune in the Fourth House

(The Nonconformist)

Even though you may defy the edicts of your parents, you will always look to them for guidance.  Your mother, in particular, may instill high ideals upon which to mold your life.  Home means shelter to you.  You will decorate it to suit yourself, regardless of what is in vogue, or seems practical.  You make your environs uniquely yours.  However, you tend to be untidy, and may destroy what you have built by neglecting to care for your creations.

Pluto in Capricorn

(The Utilizer)

Your understanding, patience and expertise will be called into play as others recognize your capabilities.  No personal experience is wasted as you prepare to aid in structuring a practical world with moral standards that are uncompromisingly spiritual.  Your obligations may be self-imposed, but will receive a devotion to duty uniquely yours. At some time, that may come close to meaning "do or die" in your attempts to enlighten mankind and alleviate its burdens.

Pluto in the Second House

(The Materialist)

You may lend more importance to the acquisition of material goods than is due, and be obsessive about "who owns what" in property disputes.  Be objective in determining values, or you may find an outstanding business acumen stunted by your reluctance to include associates in the profits.  You may rebuild your foundations time and again before achieving success, but once you reach your zenith there is very little that can topple you from the place you have earned.

Cancer Midheaven

You will be attracted to a career which allows you to maintain strong family ties.  A career which allows you to be nurturing or productive will give you emotional and creative satisfaction.  You are good at sensing and supplying the needs of  the public.  Security is important to you.  It can cause you to value money for its own sake rather than for what it will buy.  Recognize that security also comes from loyalty and honesty in your business relationships.  You are capable of making personal sacrifices in order to nurture the growth of those with whom you work.

Although you are good at switching careers because of your good sense of timing, avoid an indiscriminate, profligate lifestyle which would leave you with no permanent home base or relationship bonds.  You need to have a home of your own and a settled existence.  If you were the proprietor of a little shop, this could be a second home for you.

Occupations consistent with your nurturing style of work include home- or family-oriented businesses, restaurant owner or manager, real-estate broker, jobs connected with fluids or the public, politician, teacher, counselor, manufacturer, musician, entertainer, dancer, art dealer, advertiser, marketer, nurse or doctor.  For the most personal career guide, also consider the nature of any planets which fall in the 10th house or conjoin the Midheaven, the sign and house placements of the moon, ruler of the Midheaven, and any aspects which other planets make to the Midheaven.

North Node in Virgo

(The Pushover)

Your tender heart is on your sleeve, welcoming those who would take advantage.  Experience will grant you the knowledge that if you assume all burdens presented by the weak, they become weaker.  As you become discerning, you will utilize your ability to help others without damaging your potential and no longer assume self-sacrifice as a way of life.

North Node in the Tenth House

(The Oppressed)

You may or may not resent heavy obligations forced on you by family demands at an early age.  Yet, as you grow, you will find you INVITE the problems of others, and each you solve helps you mature into a worthwhile human being.  No one is better equipped than you to handle whatever you must.  Savor your strength and think what you might have become without it.

Planets in Aspect

Mercury square Mars  (Strength:  9.14)

(The Challenger)

Life is apt to be your private arena, as if you had something to prove every day of your life and are determined that others take notice.  You may display an irritability that puts others off or you may have to contend with those who make "getting your goat" a career.  In either case, a change of attitude will work wonders.  If you can't manage your temper, try channeling it into some physical form to vent your pique and calm down until you are in control of your feelings.

Moon trine Pluto  (Strength:  6.90)

(The Evolvement)

You are not only willing, but anxious to grow and mature. You need to know "why" you have certain feelings and will search for ways to explore them.  You may pursue psychology, philosophy or elevate your spirit through intimate encounters with conscious-raising techniques which you can adopt as your own.  Once you find your niche, an obsessive nature can limit your development, or you may turn your discoveries to professional skills to share with others.

Uranus square Pluto  (Strength:  4.45)

(The Run-away)

You are affected strongly by your environment, are opinionated, and if maladjusted, may liberate yourself from restrictions at an early age.  You find it difficult to adjust to changes that you do not originate.  The problem is that you may jump from a frying pan into a fire if you are not mature enough to have a real understanding of evolvement.  You identify with your peers.  Like the "flower children" of the `60's, you can embrace anarchism rather than transformation.

Mars conjunct Ascendant  (Strength:  3.89)

(The Impetuous)

Your needs are very personal and may reflect your impatience to "get it yesterday!"   You are self-motivated and trigger your own success.  Don't ignore the value of structure, which is as important as your ability to "get there first with the most."  You can enlist others in your cause, but must decide whether they are good for a climb, or may fall by the wayside and deter your progress.  It may be better to play the executive and administer from the top of the heap!

Sun sextile Neptune  (Strength:  3.55)

(The Spiritualist)

Because your inherent beliefs tell you that mind and body are one, you will strive for perfect balance.  Your low energy levels suit you for periods of meditation.  As you turn inward, you may open mediumistic qualities which make you sensitive to the feelings of others and you will respond to their needs.  Material blessings will never satisfy you. Follow inner urges that prompt you to reach for understanding born of your search for higher self in divine spirit.

Jupiter conjunct North Node  (Strength:  3.47)

(The Jovial)

You make an indelible imprint upon your friends with your optimism, generosity and compassionate nature.  Your love of a good time and tendency to be immoderate can emphasize the negative side of your character.  You may gamble impulsively instead of taking a calculated risk or fail to listen to good advice because of your pride or vanity.  Even then, you will attract those who are drawn to the warmth of your disposition and the kind intent that motivates your good works.

Moon square Saturn  (Strength:  3.10)

(The Lonely)

You may be depressed because you feel isolated and take the blame for your plight, but not know how to solve the problem. "Burying" yourself in work or other distractions is not going to satisfy you.  Relationships often mean chancing rejection, but if you hesitate to brave a possible loss of pride, you will also deny an opportunity for fulfillment.  By repressing feelings, you may find that you are denying expressions which can then emerge in a destructive way.

Mercury sextile Venus  (Strength:  2.70)

(The Cartoonist)

Relaxation is important to you and you learn early to pace yourself to allow time for pleasure.  You tend to take things at face value, are easy-going and amusing to have around.  You appreciate art forms, but if you draw, are more likely to "doodle" or present the lighter side of mankind in caricature, which expresses your tongue-in-cheek attitude. You are a winsome companion, if lacking the solemnity to provide variable shadows on your sunny side of the street!

Saturn square Neptune  (Strength:  2.51)

(The Troubled)

You take yourself seriously and often compound your problems by assuming sole blame.  You may be pessimistically blind in your outlook and cry "Why me?" instead of opening your eyes to practical and available answers.  Learn to appreciate what you have, beginning with yourself.  Try to use selflessness in helping others, or counsel with someone to raise your self-esteem to the place where you are not easily overwhelmed, and count your blessings on a day-to-day basis.

Moon inconjunct Uranus  (Strength:  2.36)

(The Inconsistent)

You may be considered a "show off" or just do things to get attention, and be disruptive, rather than amusing. Rather than follow a proven path, you often opt for a creative way "around duties."  You can contribute innovative ideas but are not good at following through, as you change your mind constantly about your own inventions.  Withhold your theories until you are schooled in fundamentals.  Otherwise, instead of being successful, you will finish as a "wanna-be."

Sun trine Moon  (Strength:  1.05)

(The Composed)

You have a good understanding of who you are and what you can accomplish.  You often help your friends to make the decisions that will bring their lives into balance through needed adjustments.  You believe in paying attention to stress signals that threaten your equilibrium and correcting your problems through adapting to change.  You are exemplary of the blending of the Yin and Yang or the harmonious merging of spiritual needs and bodily expression.

Sun conjunct Pluto  (Strength:  0.95)

(The Delver)

You will leave no stone unturned to understand the source of energies that press you to continually transform your life into "something better."  Facets of yourself that need revision will undergo radical changes as you eliminate anything impeding your progress.  Keep your eye "single" as to how you may improve in spite of others who try to force you to their ways.  Believe in yourself.  Little can deter you, once you find a practical way to express your power.

Mercury trine Jupiter  (Strength:  0.89)

(The Assertive)

You have big plans which you like to discuss with others.  You exchange ideas and receive the support of your friends. Once clear in your goals, you'll have no trouble convincing others that you know what you're talking about and should be given a chance to prove yourself.  You are an excellent salesperson or counselor. In either case, you have the attention of others who respect your opinion and enjoy from you a positive output which contributes to your success.

Saturn trine Uranus  (Strength:  0.45)

(The Technician)

You prepare for the future by attending to the present, but are not easily upset by unexpected changes, since you realize that "nothing is forever."  If you feel that some modification or adjustment is in order, you will try to accommodate it within your structure.  But, a need for new skills is met with the idea that you will have extra tools to advance your position.  You are open to utilizing new ideas without sacrificing what you have worked hard to establish.

Balance of Elements and Modalities

Abundant Earth

You are in touch with the real world.  More than others, you know where the rubber meets the road; persistent study has shown you how to make things happen in a practical sort of way.  Your nature is well-suited to the adult world of responsibilities, which you master at a young age.  Not impulsive with your resources, you would only start a business after careful study, but you would manage it well.  You enjoy the satisfaction that comes not just from starting projects, but from finishing them.  Your steady, organized approach is actually more productive in the long-run than is that of the quick, flashy types.  You know how to establish a pace and keep it.

Do not let your awareness of the material world make you unappreciative of the spiritual plane that underpins our life here -- to which others may be more sensitive than you.  Practicality is fine, but try to understand that dreams, feelings, and enthusiasms are also important and should not be squelched.  Others might surprise you with what their optimistic risk-taking is able to achieve.  You can be so cautious and reserved that some people find you conservative and dull.  If you yourself become bored or depressed, admit that security isn't everything and try to be more spontaneous.  Open up to the new and follow your bliss (in a careful sort of way).

Lack of Air

Expressing yourself does not come easily to you.  You distrust people who are fast, smooth talkers.  It may be easier for you to express yourself nonverbally or in writing than it is through speaking.  If you also lack planets in the houses of Relationships, you will find the normal avenues of communication and social learning blocked.  Your thinking will be personal instead of detached or rational.  With the mind's normal communication channels blocked, you learn primarily from experience.  Lacking in the ability to view yourself objectively, you gain self-understanding primarily through feedback from others.

Try to see life less personally, in a more objective way.  Take classes and never stop educating yourself.

A lack of planets in Air signs can be offset by an Air sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Relationships.

Lack of Water

For you the world of feelings may be terra incognita.  Close interpersonal relations, which require the expression of feelings, and empathy for others' feelings, do not come naturally or easily for you.  You have difficulty putting yourself in someone else's shoes in order to feel what they feel.  You will learn how to deal with life in a tough, mental sort of way.  People looking for someone to empathize with them should not come to you.  Those people who are comfortable with you are not looking for emotional closeness.  It's not that you don't have emotions and feelings, but they do not come out easily in your relationships.  If you are an artist, they may come out in your art.  You probably take refuge from the difficulty of forming emotional connections by concentrating on intellectual, practical, or inspired activity.  Your best companions would be those who are able to inhabit these realms with you, but who are also in touch with their feelings.  They can help you to contact your own feelings and teach you to respect and honor other people's feelings.

A lack of planets in Water signs can be offset by a Water sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Endings.

Abundant Substance

With abundant planets in the houses of substance, you know your place in the material world.  You know how to extract value and give value via your business, work, and career activities.  The rules of the world come easily to you.  Others admire and depend on your hard work and practical nature.  If you get depressed, make time for recreation and family.

Lack of Endings

You live on the surface of things, afraid to look within at what you really feel and want.  Perhaps your position is too precarious or the obligations too great to allow yourself this luxury.  You feel forced to maintain your personal status quo.  You come across to others as unfeeling.  Because personal feelings do not distract you, you might make a good scientist, though be aware that the greatest scientists let intuitive feelings be their guide.

A lack of planets in the houses of Endings can be offset by abundant planets in Water signs.

Lack of Relationships

Relating to other people probably plays a minor role in your life.  You could remain unmarried, be a loner, or even be an orphan.  Your thinking is probably subjective or personal, without the objectivity that comes from having communicated with many people.  Let others teach you by showing you and if they give you any feedback on your thinking, see if you can learn from it.

A lack of planets in the houses of Relationships can be offset by abundant planets in Air signs.

Abundant Mutable

With an abundance of planets in Mutable signs, you adapt easily to changing circumstances.  Mentally quick, you adapt like a chameleon to give each what they want, until you are on to the next friend or interest.  Life offers a succession of roles to play.  Skilled at diplomacy and compromise, you make a good negotiator and appear to be everyone's friend.  You actually are other-oriented, rather than self-oriented, and can be so busy meeting others' needs that you lack direction in your own life.  Concentrate on finding friends of true worth and value.  Be discriminating in your associations, in whom you choose to help.  The endless flow from your mind, tongue, and hands will then work to return real value to you, which is what you deserve.  You can probably only follow this advice just so far, though, because more than others the Universe sends you people in need, people for whom you are able to make a real difference.  The assistance that you provide to the powerless may actually be remembered long after your facile mental output is forgotten.  Your activities can also bring an end to institutions that have outlived their usefulness.

Abundant Cardinal

With an abundance of planets in the Cardinal signs, you find it easy to function on your own as an autonomous individual.  You have a pretty good grasp of how the real world works, which you may have acquired through your willingness to try new things.  An active person, you find challenges stimulating.  Success comes through big ventures that others are too intimidated to attempt.  You would make a good entrepreneur, but look for other indications in your chart to see if you have the qualities needed to stay with a project or grow a business.  You're not really a team player.  You are likely to encounter some problems in your life as a result of being so one-sidedly focused on your own goals and activities.  But you are good at overcoming problems.  Personal survival is important to you and you are capable of learning.  You manifest your love through a lack of fear that makes the future happen.

Lack of Fixed

With a lack of planets in Fixed signs, you probably find it difficult to settle down or concentrate on one thing for a long time.  You tend to be all over the place.  The advantage is that you are able to do many things at once and can move forward with change and growth when desirable.  You are a free spirit, not overly weighed down by attachments.  You may be daring, brave, and filled with ideas, but you need individuals in your life who can provide the structure and stability that you lack.  If necessary, you can force yourself to finish projects through mental discipline and willpower.

A lack of planets in the Fixed signs can be offset by a Fixed sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the Succedent houses.

Abundant Succedent

An abundance of planets in the succedent houses increases your ability to enjoy life.  In turn, you can give others pleasure.  You are a basically stable person with strong values, feelings, and attachments.  You enoy working to build the structure of your life.  As you gain confidence in your self, you bind others to you with love.  You have a strong physical presence.

Abundant Angular

An abundance of planets in the angular houses helps to give you drive and initiative.  It makes you active in the external world.  Expressing your individuality is important to you.  You are probably a leader who enjoys challenges and can get things moving.

Lack of Cadent

A lack of planets in the cadent houses tends to reduce the time that you have to yourself.  You may feel that you are always in the limelight or somehow involved with others.  This leaves you little time for solitary reflection.  The life of a spiritual recluse is not for you.  You don't change quickly, but must gradually grow into changes.

A lack of planets in the Cadent houses can be offset by abundant planets in the Mutable signs.
