ACCORDING TO THIS SHIT.

Mercury Retrograde in Earth Signs - 2016 Dates

Mercury's retrogrades in 2016 are all in earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo).  It's a time of retreat to solid ground, even if that means taking two steps back.

Here are the dates:
  • January 5 - January 25, 2016  First in air Aquarius, then in earth sign Capricorn
  • April 28 - May 22, 2016 in earth sign Taurus
  • August 30 - September 22, 2016 in earth sign Virgo
  • December 19 2016 - January 8, 2017 in earth Capricorn, back into fire sign Sagittarius
The earth element is a stabilizing one, that can root us in a rhythm of purpose.  What makes sense? Mercury symbolizes how we make sense of reality -- it's the way we shape perception, and visualize the steps to making things happen.
These days reality itself can seem fluid, and an earthy Mercury retro series inspires a more practical mindset.  It's a year to bring an idea -- or dream -- into form, or find new ways to use your natural gifts.

With Natural Law in Mind

Mercury retrogrades in earth signs show us where we're somehow divorced from physical reality, or where we skipped foundational steps.
All three earth signs hone our instincts for living in sync with the laws of nature.
Is there a nagging sense of the need to come back to basics?  To pick up something that's been lost, like taking time for pleasure, relaxation and developing your craft?
Another example of this that comes to mind is doing work that puts a relentless strain on the body-mind-spirit.  At some point, there's a price to pay for ignoring the body, like with a major illness that forces an end to it.  So health and the daily grind are up for review.
Another example is denying natural instincts, like the biological urge to have children, in favor of external goals.  Or repressing the organic instincts of femininity or masculinity, and imposing some trendy notion of what that's supposed to be (or not be).
In a chaotic time, this is Mercury's gift to us in earth signs.  Touch, taste, smell, etc. are heightened, and the body's messages come through loud and clear.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn (Cardinal Earth)

This is when the voice of authority is up for review big time.  Who are the experts and commentators you follow?  This retro cycle could scramble that a bit, making it hard to know who to trust.  You might reconsider those you thought spoke with an air of wisdom.  A possible gift is finding that inner voice of authority to guide you.
Completion is a big word in Capricorn's vocabulary.  And this retro time gets you thinking about how to achieve your loftiest aspirations.  You might recommit to a goal, and possibly retraining or recertification.  If there's a secret dream of mastery in your mind and heart, it resurfaces now.  You can break down the steps to achieving, and be slow to act, but realistic.
Capricorn also has a lost gift in being the holder of timeless tradition, one that reaches back to the ancients.  That makes it a great time to research ancestral lineages, and muse on inherited genetic memory.
What can go askew?  This is likely not the best time to lay the cornerstone for a new building.  Or to lay any kind of ground work, as if we follow Mercury retro lore, it could have to be redone.  The same holds true for dental work, or setting of bones (associated with Capricorn).  Going with what was said about experts and the body, it's a critical time to get a second or third opinion!  Blind trust in authority could bring you misfortune.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus (Fixed Earth) - April 28th to May 22nd

The sensual, full-bodied voice of Taurus reminds us of what we've been missing -- earthly delights!  Some Mercury retro cycles are like a vacation, and this one brings you to creature comforts.  This is a slow Mercury, but one that savors the sensations along the way.
Taurus takes its sweet time, so be prepared to stop and smell the gardenias (my favorite)!  Since Mercury travels with the Sun, this retro happens in Spring, when all of nature is in its fragrant bloom.  Memories can be evoked now, through the senses, in a way that takes you right there, like you're re-living a moment.
Venus rules Taurus, so old lovers could reappear.  You also remember what you love to do, what makes life worth living.
Taurus has its mind on security, so this heightens the need to stabilize finances, a living situation or work.  Something could come up to show where you've got to put substance to your vision.  You might realize you've got to hone your craft, gain new skills or brush up on old ones.
What's best to avoid?  It's wise to hold back from new ventures, especially if you sense you're possibly winging it, or may be skipping steps to save time.  Hold off on that artistic come-back, or debut, until after the retro is over.  Be patient with others, as speech can be laborious under Taurus.

Mercury Retrograde in Virgo (Mutable Earth)

The diligence of Virgo kicks into hyper-drive during the retro cycle.  It's a great time for research, and that's something Virgo excels at anyway.  And it's one for rewriting that story or reinvigorating a project that fell by the wayside.
Here, the physicality of Virgo brings the body-mind connection home, and becomes clear even for those that have been living in their heads too much.  It's wise to look at your day, and if it's balanced and gives you time to unwind.  The best ideas will come when you're cleansed of the chatter of the day.  This is a super time to purge and purify your whole self -- the key word is restoration.
What to watch out for?  Be wary of snap decisions that may backfire.  You might have a grasp of the details, but be missing crucial overarching realities.  An example is creating a product, but later realizing there's no market for it.  Don't fall prey to negative loops of self-criticism.  You might though, be able to see these patterns of self-sabotage, and dismantle them in a retro cycle.

My 2017 terror attack prediction dates.

    • January 3, 4 - Quadrantids Meteor Shower. The Quadrantids is an above average shower, with up to 40 meteors per hour at its peak. It is thought to be produced by dust grains left behind by an extinct comet known as 2003 EH1, which was discovered in 2003. The shower runs annually from January 1-5. It peaks this year on the night of the 3rd and morning of the 4th. The first quarter moon will set shortly after midnight leaving fairly dark skies for what could be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Bootes, but can appear anywhere in the sky.
    • January 12 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 11:34 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Wolf Moon because this was the time of year when hungry wolf packs howled outside their camps. This moon has also been know as the Old Moon and the Moon After Yule.
    • January 12 - Venus at Greatest Eastern Elongation. The planet Venus reaches greatest eastern elongation of 47.1 degrees from the Sun. This is the best time to view Venus since it will be at its highest point above the horizon in the evening sky. Look for the bright planet in the western sky after sunset.
    • January 19 - Mercury at Greatest Western Elongation. The planet Mercury reaches greatest western elongation of 24.1 degrees from the Sun. This is the best time to view Mercury since it will be at its highest point above the horizon in the morning sky. Look for the planet low in the eastern sky just before sunrise.
    • January 28 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 00:07 UTC. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.
    • February 11 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 00:33 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time of the year. Since hunting is difficult, this moon has also been known by some tribes as the Full Hunger Moon, since the harsh weather made hunting difficult.
    • February 11 - Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth's partial shadow, or penumbra. During this type of eclipse the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of eastern South America, eastern Canada, the Atlantic Ocean, Europe, Africa, and western Asia. (NASA Map and Eclipse Information)
    • February 26 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 14:59 UTC. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.
    • February 26 - Annular Solar Eclipse. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from the Earth to completely cover the Sun. This results in a ring of light around the darkened Moon. The Sun's corona is not visible during an annular eclipse. The path of the eclipse will begin off the coast of Chile and pass through southern Chile and southern Argentina, across the southern Atlantic Ocean, and into Angola and Congo in Africa. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout parts of southern South America and southwestern Africa.
(NASA Map and Eclipse Information) (NASA Interactive Google Map)

This moon has also been known as the Full Crow Moon, the Full Crust Moon, the Full Sap Moon, and the Lenten Moon.
    • March 20 - March Equinox. The March equinox occurs at 10:29 UTC. The Sun will shine directly on the equator and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night throughout the world. This is also the first day of spring (vernal equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of fall (autumnal equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere.
    • March 28 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 02:58 UTC. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. This is the best time to view and photograph Jupiter and its moons. A medium-sized telescope should be able to show you some of the details in Jupiter's cloud bands. A good pair of binoculars should allow you to see Jupiter's four largest moons, appearing as bright dots on either side of the planet.
    • April 11 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 06:08 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Pink Moon because it marked the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the first spring flowers. This moon has also been known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Growing Moon, and the Egg Moon. Many coastal tribes called it the Full Fish Moon because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.
    • April 22, 23 - Lyrids Meteor Shower. The Lyrids is an average shower, usually producing about 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher, which was discovered in 1861. The shower runs annually from April 16-25. It peaks this year on the night of the night of the 22nd and morning of the 23rd. These meteors can sometimes produce bright dust trails that last for several seconds. The crescent moon should not be too much of a problem this year. Skies should still be dark enough for a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Lyra, but can appear anywhere in the sky.
    • April 26 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 12:17 UTC. Most of the activity is seen in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, the rate can reach about 30 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet Halley, which has known and observed since ancient times. The shower runs annually from April 19 to May 28. It peaks this year on the night of May 6 and the morning of the May 7. The waxing gibbous moon will block out many of the fainter meteors this year. But if you are patient, you should be able to catch quite a few of the brighter ones. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Aquarius, but can appear anywhere in the sky.
    • May 10 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 21:42 UTC. During this type of eclipse a part of the Moon will darken as it moves through the Earth's shadow. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of eastern Africa, central Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Australia. (NASA Map and Eclipse Information)
    • August 12, 13 - Perseids Meteor Shower. The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by comet Swift-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1862. The Perseids are famous for producing a large number of bright meteors. The shower runs annually from July 17 to August 24. It peaks this year on the night of August 12 and the morning of August 13. The waning gibbous moon will block out many of the fainter meteors this year, but the Perseids are so bright and numerous that it should still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Perseus, but can appear anywhere in the sky.
    • August 21 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 18:30 UTC. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.
    • August 21 - Total Solar Eclipse. A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon completely blocks the Sun, revealing the Sun's beautiful outer atmosphere known as the corona. This is a rare, once-in-a-lifetime event for viewers in the United States. The last total solar eclipse visible in the continental United States occurred in 1979 and the next one will not take place until 2024. The path of totality will begin in the Pacific Ocean and travel through the center of the United States. The total eclipse will be visible in parts of Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina before ending in the Atlantic Ocean. A partial eclipse will be visible in most of North America and parts of northern South America. (NASA Map and Eclipse Information | Detailed Zoomable Map of Eclipse Path)
    • September 5 - Neptune at Opposition. The blue giant planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. This is the best time to view and photograph Neptune. Due to its extreme distance from Earth, it will only appear as a tiny blue dot in all but the most powerful telescopes.
    • September 6 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 07:03 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Corn Moon because the corn is harvested around this time of year.

THIS IS THE RESULT BUT THIS IS THE PAPERS. READ BELOW.

New York (CNN)Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton notched resounding victories in New York Tuesday night, answering questions about their command of the race as the front-runners moved significantly closer to their party's nominations.
Their decisive wins usher in a new phase in the 2016 campaign. Both Trump and Clinton have fought bitterly for months to keep their rivals at bay, each slogging through primary contests that exposed vulnerabilities in their candidacies and campaigns.
On Tuesday, Trump came close to sweeping New York's 95 delegates -- a development that could help the Manhattan real estate mogul win the GOP nomination outright and avoid what would be an explosive and messy contested convention in July. Clinton's win, meanwhile, will go a long way in blunting the momentum of Bernie Sanders -- the liberal Vermont senator whose unexpected popularity has dogged the former secretary of state.
As of 12 a.m. ET, Trump held 847 delegates, while Ted Cruz had 553 and John Kasich had 148, according to CNN estimate. A Republican candidate needs 1,237 delegates to clinch the nomination.

Across the aisle, Clinton was leading with 1,930 delegates including 1,443 pledged delegates and 487 superdelegates. Sanders had a total of 1,223 delegates including 1,183 pledged delegates and 40 superdelegates. A Democratic candidate needs 2,383 delegates to secure the nomination.
It was a sweet homecoming for the front-runners, who each have deep ties to New York.
Last year, Trump and Clinton -- in wildly different settings -- launched their White House campaigns in New York City. On Tuesday, it was again in Manhattan that both Trump and Clinton confidently declared that they were within reach of the ultimate prize.
In a victory speech in the lobby of Trump Tower, Trump said Cruz was "just about mathematically eliminated."
"We don't have much of a race anymore," Trump boomed. "We're going to go into the convention I think as the winner."
His remarks suggested he may take a less harsh tone against his GOP competitors in the weeks ahead. While Trump slammed Cruz, he called him "senator" instead of his favorite nickname: "Lyin' Ted."

    'Victory is in sight'

And at a midtown Sheraton Hotel just two avenues west, Clinton triumphantly told supporters that "victory is in sight."
"We started this race not far from here on Roosevelt Island," Clinton said in her victory speech. "And tonight, a little less than a year later, the race for the Democratic nomination is in the homestretch and victory is in sight."
The biggest question for Trump going into the night was whether his margin of victory would be high enough to clinch most of New York's 95 delegates. CNN projects Trump will clear the 50% threshold to take all of New York's 14 statewide delegates. He will need to win majorities in each of the state's 27 congressional districts to win all of the remaining delegates.
With 93% of the vote in at 12:15 a.m ET, Trump was in the lead at 60% while Ohio Gov. John Kasich was at 25.2% and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was at 14.8%.
With 94% of the Democratic vote in, Clinton was leading Sanders 57.7% to 42.3%.
The New York GOP primary confirmed the voter sentiments that have propelled Trump's remarkable campaign. According to CNN exit polls, the billionaire businessman was the overwhelming favorite among Republican voters who said the next president should be "outside the establishment," as well as those who are angry at or dissatisfied with the federal government. More than 9 in 10 Republican voters who said a presidential candidate's top quality is to "tell it like it is" backed Trump.
In the Democratic contest, exit polls also showed that Clinton drew support from demographic groups that helped her in past races. She won 66% of voters 45 and older, while Sanders was the favorite among younger voters, 18-44. Clinton also once again dominated among minority voters, winning 75% of the African-American vote and 64% of the Latino vote.
Trump's New York victory came at a pivotal moment for the front-runner.

Over the past few weeks, Trump has come face-to-face with the Cruz campaign's strong command of the complicated delegate allocation rules. The GOP front-runner has expressed frustration as he's watched Cruz walk away with victories and increase his delegate pile -- a sentiment that boiled over after the Texas senator swept the Colorado Republican convention earlier this month.
Cruz, whose campaign acknowledged ahead of time that it may walk away from New York with zero delegates, delivered remarks in Philadelphia Tuesday night that sought to draw a contrast between himself and Trump and emphasize party unity.
"I'm so excited to share with you what America has learned over the past few months, and it has nothing to do with a politician winning his home state," Cruz said, calling 2016 the "year of the outsider."
"We must unite the Republican Party because doing so is the first step toward uniting all Americans," he added. "Let us unite on the things that have always made us great."
Fearing that the magic number of 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination was becoming increasingly elusive, Trump sanctioned changes within his operations ahead of the New York contest.

Across the political aisle, the New York race came after Sanders had won eight of the last nine Democratic contests -- a reality that the Vermont senator has repeatedly touted on the campaign trail.
"I think the Clinton campaign and the secretary are getting a little bit nervous," Sanders told CNN after last week's particularly combative Democratic debate in Brooklyn.

    New York roots

Tuesday's contests were particularly significant for three of the candidates who have roots in New York.
Trump is a Queens native and Manhattanite whose famous last name is featured on real estate properties around the city. For Clinton, the race was something of a homecoming: she was a New York senator for eight years, owns a home in Chappaqua and her campaign headquarters is in Brooklyn. And while Sanders has represented Vermont on Capitol Hill for decades, he was born and raised in Brooklyn and has spoken fondly about his upbringing in the borough.
Clinton in particular appeared to delight in campaigning in the five boroughs in recent days. She kept a packed schedule that included riding the subway, drinking bubble tea and sampling dumplings in Brooklyn -- all part of an effort to tour the city and mingle with its residents in relatively casual settings.
Trump and Clinton spent Tuesday morning taking care of their first order of business: voting.
Trump visited his polling station, the Central Synagogue three blocks east of Trump Tower, where he cast a ballot for himself for the first time.
"It's a proud moment. It's a great moment. And who would've thought? It's just an honor," he told reporters.

    New Yorkers in the spotlight

With so much at stake for the two front-runners, Empire State voters on were in the unusual position -- for the first time in decades -- of playing a crucial role in the presidential nomination process.
Local political figures in both parties relished the state's rare moment in the spotlight of a presidential election.
"It's been an unusual circumstance where New York is one of the deciding factors in the Democratic race, so that's exciting," said Democratic Queens Borough President Melinda Katz.
New York State Republican Party Chairman Ed Cox referred to the contests here as his state's "New Hampshire moment" -- a reference to the New England state's outsized role in the presidential primary.
"This is what the New York state party needs. We need this kind of excitement," Cox said. "We are indeed having our decisive moment in selecting the next president of the United States."
